ChipMonk Poker is a free Texas Hold'em game you can play in any web browser. No download, no signup, no real money — just cards and chips.

Why we built it

Most free poker apps are mobile-only and bury the game under sign-up walls, push notifications, and aggressive in-app-purchase prompts. ChipMonk goes the other direction: open the page, take a seat, deal a hand. That's it.

Every chip in ChipMonk is virtual play money. Chips have no real-world value, cannot be purchased, and cannot be redeemed for anything. ChipMonk is for entertainment only — it's not gambling.

ChipMonk is a single-page web app built with Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. The poker engine, hand evaluator, and bots are all open-source-quality TypeScript modules. Sounds are synthesized at runtime with the Web Audio API — no audio files to download.
